Hey guys, it's February 2008 and I'm new to this site. A little about me, well, my name is Alison, I'm 19 and I live in Taber, Alberta. A friend told me I should join this site so here I am, checkin' it out. Umm, I've been drawing my whole life, it's one thing that I'm pretty good at-- I donno, I don't do much and I take pride in my artwork so yeah it's one of the only things I'm really talented in I'd say. Who knows, other people might argue that. If you look at my work you'll find for the most part it's people, portraiture, human figure, fairies, lilies. I love to draw people just because I think you can find so much emotion in peoples' facial expressions and I just love to capture that. Oh, and you'll find quite a few pieces featuring the talented Ms. Christina Aguilera. I'm a die-hard fan and I think the world of her. She's beautiful, she's amazing, she's a true artist and a chameleon, and by far my favourite subject to draw. I'm pretty passionate about my work and I spend a lot of time to get things just right, even though they're not always gonna work out that way; I like to try. I just recently started drawing again though. About a year ago I dropped out of college 'cos I just lost interest in it, and I just really had no drive or motivation to do anything, so I quit drawing. I just got back into it though, and I'm thinkin' I'm gonna keep on going 'cos it keeps me sane, and it's just a release, a way for me to escape.
